General Information

Are the online store prices the same as those in my usual Violet & Ginger store?

Yes.

Are out-of-stock items restocked?

If an item is out of stock, we will try to restock it as soon as possible. If no stock is available, it will be removed from the website.

Will I receive the same product that I see in the photo?

Yes, except in the case of products which are handcrafted in which there may be slight differences in the final product.

How can I be sure that I’ve made my purchase correctly?

Once you have placed your order, you will receive a confirmation email. If you do not receive an email, please contact us by sending an email to loja@violetandginger.com.

Can I remove items from my order?

Yes. You can delete any unwanted items from your shopping bag as long as the order hasn’t been processed yet.

What should I do if I receive a faulty item?

violetandginger.com only sells items in perfect condition so, in the rare event of receiving a faulty item, please contact us by sending an email to loja@violetandginger.com.

What should I do if I receive an incorrect item?

If you were to accidentally receive an item that you did not order, please contact us by sending an email to loja@violetandginger.com.

How long will my order take to arrive?

Standard deliveries for Mainland Portugal take 2 to 3 working days, rest of Europe around 7 working days.

Where can I receive my order?

It can be sent to an address selected by you (home, work, etc…). You can also pick up your order at one of our shops (Porto or Lisbon).

 

How much will it cost to ship my order?

To Portugal it will cost 5€, to Europe 10€ and to USA and Canada 15€. To the rest of the world you can send us an e-mail to info@violetandginger.com so we can give you a value.

Exchanges and Returns

How do I exchange an item?

The Exchange of an article can be made by post or at one of our stores.
Resend the article to: Largo de São Domingos, 99, 4050-545 Porto.
The article must present the corresponding receipt.
Items must be in their original condition.
Violet & Ginger will only support the return cost in case of items with defect or that have been sent incorrectly.
Violet & Ginger is not responsible in case of loss.
The exchange of an article may be made in one of the Violet & Ginger stores (Lisbon or Oporto) or by post.

In store:
Items must be in their original condition.
The article must present the corresponding receipt.
The user may exchange the item for another of equal or greater value or receive a voucher worth the same value of the article and have a 90-day period to use it at a Violet&Ginger store.

By post:
Resend the article to: Largo de São Domingos, 99, 4050-545 Porto, Portugal.
The article must present the corresponding receipt
Items must be in their original condition.
Violet & Ginger will only support the return cost in the case of items with defect or that have been sent incorrectly.

Violet&Ginger is not responsible for items lost in transit.

 

What can not be exchanged?

Items on sale can not be exchanged.

 

How long do I have to exchange an item?

All exchanges must be made within 15 days of the e-mail confirming shipment.

 

Violet & Ginger reserves the right to decline exchanges sent or communicated beyond the exchange period limit, or items which are not in the same condition in which they were received.
